Responsibilities
  • To work in conjunction with the respective Home Managers in providing the monitoring and management of a team of maintenance people across the homes within the Group.
  • You will support the maintenance manager to ensure that all maintenance employees have received a good handover/induction of the home they are aligned to in order they can adequately undertake all that is required of them without too much input from yourself; you will pay particular attention to Risk Assessments/H&S and the location of stop cocks/gas/electric switches.
  • In the absence of a permanent Maintenance Person/Manager at any given home you will follow the JD of that job role until a replacement can be found.
  • You may be called out of hours; it is at your discretion how important the call out to gauge next actions. You will use your discretion as to whether or not you consider you are competent and confident to carry out such a task if called out.
