Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Cook at Rodley House to prepare nutritious meals and support resident dining experiences. You will tailor meals to individual dietary needs and help run themed days to brighten residents' days.

The role offers 18 hours per week with the main shift 9am–3pm, includes alternate weekends, and a range of benefits such as funded training up to QCF Level 5 and a pension. On-demand pay is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a care home setting.
• Knowledge of IDDSI or complex dietary needs (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual needs.
• Create enjoyable dining experiences and themed events.
• Plan daily menus and support kitchen operations.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
