Job summary

Kingston House Care Home in Derry Hill, Calne, is seeking a dedicated cleaner to support 24-hour care in a warm, friendly setting.

You will clean allocated rooms including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment, ensuring rooms are odour free and adhere to cleanliness guidelines. Strict waste disposal and confidentiality are required. Experience is preferred but not essential, with training provided and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean allocated rooms including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment.
• Clean bathrooms and toilets with attention to germ control guidelines.
• Ensure rooms are odour free.
• Follow COSHH health and safety guidelines.
• Dispose of waste bags according to prescribed procedures.
• Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times.
