Qualifications

• Previous experience of maintaining standards within a catering department according to Health & Safety and Food Safety Act.
• Experience working in a care home or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Head Chef to deliver the catering services within the care home.
• Prepare food for residents according to nutrition, hydration, and dietary guidelines.
• Maintain a high standard of food provision and service to the residents, staff and visitors.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure all health and safety records and monitoring adhere to statutory requirements.
• Prepare and cook dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the head chef.
• Oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station and maintain station management.
