Cucumber Catering is actively recruiting experienced Care Home Chefs for ongoing agency work across Chelmsford and surrounding CM areas. Immediate starts are available, with high volumes of shifts and weekly pay for reliable, dedicated chefs who can work regularly in care-home environments.

As an Agency Chef, you will prepare nutritious meals, follow dietary requirements, and work closely with care teams to maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Care home chef experience essential.
• Experience in UK-based care home or similar healthcare setting.
• Ability to cook for large numbers of residents.
• Knowledge of special diets and dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

Cucumber Catering is currently recruiting experienced Care Home Chefs for ongoing agency work across the Chelmsford and other CM areas.

We have a high volume of shifts available, particularly for chefs who have good availability and can work regularly. If you have previous experience working in a care home environment and are looking for flexible, well-paid chef work, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

As an Agency Chef working within a care home, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for residents while ensuring their individual dietary requirements and preferences are met.

You will play an important role in supporting residents' wellbeing through good nutrition and enjoyable meals. You will work alongside the care team and kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and service.
