Job summary

Somerset Care is recruiting for a Care Assistant at Frith House, Burnham on Sea. This is a 24-hour-per-week role within a friendly, not-for-profit care home where you will be supported with training and development.

You’ll provide person-centred care, assist with daily living tasks, and help residents stay connected and independent. Full induction and funded qualifications are offered, with enhanced pay for nights and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
• A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for people
• Able to work alternate weekends
• Hours available (per week): 24 hours

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred care and support
• Helping with daily living tasks, personal care and housekeeping
• Offering emotional support and encouraging independence
• Supporting appointments and social activities
