Job description
Role Overview

We require a highly motivated individual with a genuine interest in providing evidence-based interventions for young people who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis. The successful applicant will be required to use sound clinical and risk assessment skills, and to complete interventions to the high standards that we pride ourselves on offering.

Key Responsibilities

There is a requirement of extensive travel across the Salford footprint, and beyond if clinically required. This is a community-based role and working from home is not possible.

Under line management and clinical supervision from within EIT, the post holder will maintain and co-ordinate timely and appropriate interventions for a caseload of service users living in the Salford area. The post holder will work within the framework of CPA, and in line with relevant clinical pathways as outlined within the EIT Operational Procedure.

The post holder will be required to work the core hours of 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, but flexible working will be required to meet service need. There is an expectation that the successful applicant will undertake weekend working on a rota basis as required to maintain the out of hours service that is offered by the Trust. This equates to an average of one weekend per 3 months.
