Job summary

The West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Care Certificate Support Worker to join the Integrated Clinical Education Team (ICET). The post-holder will guide and support new HCSWs undertaking the Care Certificate and help develop clinical practice in line with standards.

The role spans acute and community settings, including adult, child, maternity and therapy services, with opportunities to contribute to teaching and training.

Qualifications

• Care Certificate is required for the role.
• Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship (Level 3) or equivalent is expected.
• Demonstration of ongoing personal development in the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Support new Healthcare Support Workers in clinical environments across acute and community settings.
• Provide clinical guidance and pastoral support to HCSWs.
• Assist with delivery of teaching and training within classroom and clinical environments.
