Location

Ystradgynlais ,Swansea ,SA9 1LQ

Shifts

Full time(33 or 36 hours) and part time ( 16 or 22 hours) available (Mon - Sun rota including weekends)

Pay Rate

£12.60 - £12.90 per hour

Social Care Wales

You will have six months from starting the position to register for your SCW pin

Role Overview
  • Support adults with lots of different needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health
  • Support them to flourish in a place they call home. Empower the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives
  • Give high-quality support tailored to people’s needs
  • Do activities like cooking, art or listening to music. And get out for movie nights and food outings
  • Provide personal care including support with continence needs; health and medication needs; handling personal possessions; finances and documents; shopping. Help them to have good levels of personal and environmental hygiene
  • Follow our procedures, so we give consistent, safe, and reliable care and support
Key Skills and Experience
Essential
  • Good general education
  • Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference
  • Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and of Ivolve
  • Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable)
  • A commitment to undertake training and development
Desirable
  • RQF Level 2 or above in social care
  • Previous experience within social care setting
  • Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities
  • Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks
  • Confident IT user
