Job summary

Anchor Hanover Group in East Horsley, England is seeking a Care Assistant to join our caring team. The role involves providing dignified personal care, assisting residents during meals, and offering support with everyday activities while building trusted relationships.

No prior care experience is required as we offer comprehensive training through Skills for Care-recognised programs and a supportive learning environment. Flexible weekends and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• Willingness to undertake training and develop in adult social care.
• Able to communicate with residents with empathy and patience.

Responsibilities

• Provide dignified personal care to residents.
• Assist during mealtimes and support with daily activities.
• Be a caring, attentive listener and safeguarding advocate for residents.
• Help create a warm, respectful environment in the home.

Job description

26 hours per week, 2 shifts per week, Saturday and Sunday, 7 am - 9 pm.

Please note public transport comes once every hour on weekends.

As a Care Assistant, you’ll bring compassion, energy, and fun to our residents. Your role includes providing dignified personal care, assisting during mealtimes, and provide sensitive and appropriate support with various aspects of people’s lives. Beyond physical care, you'll also be a comforting and attentive listener.
