Job Summary

As a Care Assistant at Woodside Hall, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. You will work alongside a dedicated team committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily activities such as personal care, mobilising, and meeting nutritional needs.
  • Provide individualized care tailored to each resident's needs.
  • Foster a warm and welcoming environment that promotes the well-being of residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure coordinated care delivery.
  • To enhance the quality of life for residents through engaging activities and social interactions.
Experience
  • Prior experience in home care or care home settings is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Proficiency in basic IT skills for documentation and training purposes.
  • Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with residents and team members.
  • Ability to follow care plans accurately and adapt to changing needs.

This position offers 24 to 36 hours per week on a permanent contract with shifts from 7.30 am to 1.30 pm and 1.30 pm to 7.30 pm. We provide competitive pay starting at £12.50 per hour with £2.25 per hour additional weekend supplements and Bank holiday pay supplements of £6.25 per hour. Opportunities to work overtime at £14.15 per hour.
