Be Caring is hiring Care Assistants to support people in their homes across North Newcastle. No degree or formal care qualifications are required, just the right values and a can-do attitude. The role involves early/late shifts and both full-time and part-time hours to fit our two-week rota.

You will provide personal care, promote independence, document care, and communicate with families and professionals to ensure outcomes and community connection.

Qualifications

• No formal care qualifications required, but right values and a can-do attitude are essential.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial.
• Able to work shifts including early/late and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care that protects people’s dignity.
• Promote independence using enabling approaches.
• Support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals.
• Connect people to their communities accessing local support and services.
