Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is hiring a dedicated Care Assistant at our Marlow area home. You will deliver high-quality personal care to residents and work within a supportive team that values compassion and respect.

No experience is required as we provide a thorough induction and training programme to build confidence in your role. DBS disclosure is required, with costs covered by Avery, and eligibility to work in the UK must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and support continuity of services.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene to maintain independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and escalate clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infection signs.
• Respect residents and visitors, upholding dignity in all interactions.
• Practice safe systems of work across tasks.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Other responsibilities will include:

Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.

• Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and elevate any identified risks in a timely manner.
• Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
• Practicing safe systems of work across the range of task.
