Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to deliver high standards of personal care and support for residents in our care homes. You will join a close-knit team, upholding values of compassion, respect and accountability as you help residents maintain dignity and independence.

We provide a thorough induction and training programme to ensure confidence in your role. A DBS disclosure check will be required, with the cost met by Avery Healthcare, along with proof of eligibility

About The Role

Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Other Responsibilities Will Include

• Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.
• Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and elevate any identified risks in a timely manner.
• Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
• Practicing safe systems of work across the range of task.
