Avery Healthcare Group is hiring a Care Assistant for Pemberley House Care Home in Basingstoke, Hampshire. You will deliver high standards of personal care and work as part of a supportive team to ensure continuity of services for residents.

Full induction and training are provided; DBS check is required and cost covered by Avery. You’ll be expected to communicate effectively, show respect and flexibility, and uphold our caring values daily.

We’re now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Care Assistant at Pemberley House Care Home in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

About The Role

Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Other Responsibilities Will Include

• Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.
• Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escal... any identified risks in a timely manner.
• Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
• Practicing safe systems of work across the range of task.

• Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
