Job summary

Renaissance Care Meadowlark in Forres is seeking a dedicated Night-shift Care Assistant to join our team. You will support residents with daily living, promote wellbeing, and help deliver person-centred care plans.

Each shift brings variety as you engage in 1:1 activities, support mealtimes, and work with a multi-disciplinary team; full training is provided, and SVQ2 is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• SVQ2 in social care is beneficial but not essential.
• Previous care sector experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Promote nutrition and hydration through mealtime support.

Care Assistant (Night-shift) Meadowlark

We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care.

We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team in Meadowlark for a variety of flexible contracts.

Our Care Assistants are at the forefront of resident engagement, they support and encourage meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection. Our Care Assistants who cover night shifts are essential and will participate in person-centred activities, particularly through 1:1 care and promoting lifestyle and wellbeing choices for all residents.

The Care Assistant role is to ensure the highest quality, person-centred care for all residents – supporting the delivery of each individual care plan. The role promotes the independence and choice of residents, making sure that their voice is heard through all elements of care and support. The role offers variety and versatility as no two shifts are the same. Key elements of care include assisting with personal care, promote a positive mealtime experience to enhance nutrition and hydration, support meaningful connections and create 1:1 meaningful activities.

An essential aspect of the role is upholding the values of People, Friendly, Passionate and Inclusion. You will be an effective communicator and work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Having your SVQ2 and previous experience in the care sector is beneficial but not essential as full training is provided.
