Job summary

Home Instead Ards and North Down is seeking Care Assistants to deliver compassionate companionship, home help and personal care in the Newtownards area, with a minimum 1-hour visit per client.

We offer flexible and guaranteed hours, up to £14 per hour, mileage allowance, induction and ongoing training, plus discounts and pension. A valid UK driving licence and access to suitable transport are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license and access to suitable transport.
• Experience in care is desirable but training is provided.
• Enhanced Access NI check and Right to Work in the UK.
• NISCC registration or willingness to be registered.
• Ability to complete e-learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, home help and personal care to clients.
• Minimum 1 hour visits with clients.
• Support clients to live safely at home and build trusting relationships.
