Job description
Job Overview

Immediate starts available for experienced carers in the Chesterfield area! We’re looking for experienced Care Assistants to join an extra care service where each resident has their own flat within the building. The care provider delivers a “community-style” service entirely on‑site, offering the same level of personalised support you’d expect in traditional community care—without the need to travel between homes.

Responsibilities

Residents are semi‑independent, but your role will include personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, domestic duties, and occasional shopping trips in the local area. Some residents require double‑up care and assisted moving using hoists and other mobility aids. Care is delivered through a mix of scheduled service calls and ad‑hoc visits, all within the same building.

Benefits

If you're looking for a fresh opportunity that offers ongoing hours, a supportive team, and the feel of community care without the commute, apply today!

Requirements

To be suitable for this position you must have:

  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
  • Up to date mandatory training certificates
  • Full up‑to‑date CV
  • At least 2 professional references covering a minimum of 2 years working within formal care settings or community care.

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

*Please note that we do not offer sponsorships*
