You will be responsible for providing personal care, preparing meals, and offering companionship to clients in their own homes. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training is provided, particularly in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in the Edgbaston Office as a CAREGiver. As a CAREGiver, you will provide a variety of non‑medical services to help them remain independent in their own home.
The requirements of the role vary from client to client, but you may be required to help with:
Our clients usually have breakfast, lunch, tea, bed and overnight calls depending on the level of care that they require.
You will not need any experience of working in the care setting or interacting with older people, but it would be desirable if you do. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will need to have a passion for supporting others, pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service, be reliable, trustworthy and respectful, enjoy building professional friendships, and be comfortable spending time in the company of others.
