Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of Care Assistants in London Westminster. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our elderly clients to maintain their independence in their own homes. Your responsibilities will focus on providing high-quality care and assistance to ensure our clients' well‑being and comfort.

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in clients' homes
  • Engaging in meaningful conversations and activities with clients
  • Assisting with mobility and personal care tasks as needed
  • Monitoring and reporting on clients' physical and mental well‑being
  • Administering medication according to prescribed schedules
  • Accompanying clients to medical appointments and social outings

This role requires a compassionate approach, reliability, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care services.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Commitment to completing the Care Certificate training programme provided by our organisation.
  • Demonstrated passion for supporting and caring for others, particularly the elderly.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional service in a professional capacity.
  • Exemplary reliability, trustworthiness, and respect for clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with clients.
  • Comfort and competence in providing companionship to individuals for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills and empathy for working with vulnerable populations.
  • Physical capability to assist with mobility and personal care tasks as required.
  • Willingness to adhere strictly to organisational policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Candidates must understand the critical nature of this role in supporting the independence and well‑being of our elderly clients. Only those who can demonstrate a serious commitment to excellence in care provision will be considered for this position.
