Job summary

Bluebird Care Harrogate is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes in Harrogate. Flexible shifts include school hours, full-time and weekend opportunities, with training and ongoing support.

Responsibilities include personalised care, assistance with daily living, meal preparation, medication support, and light housekeeping. A full UK driving licence and right to work are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship or visa transfer.
• Kind, compassionate attitude with a calm approach to care.
• Excellent communication and ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow individual care plans.
• Previous healthcare assistant experience is beneficial but not required.

• Salary details: £14.00 - £18.90 per hour

We offer a wide range of flexible shift patterns to fit around your life, including full-time and Fixed Hour part-time roles. Choose school hours shifts between 7:30am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, or take advantage of our weekend opportunities, with shifts available between 7:00am and 10:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
