Job summary

Care By Us Limited is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join our Stevenage team. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care in clients’ homes across Stevenage and nearby areas, following care plans and prioritising dignity and respect.

Training is provided, and drivers with own vehicles are essential for this community-based role. Shifts include weekdays and weekends with varied patterns, offering guaranteed hours for the right candidates and enhanced pay on weekends and bank

Qualifications

• No previous social care experience required; paid training provided.
• Compassion, reliability and willingness to learn valued.
• Must have a full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dignified personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, continence support).
• Support clients with medication reminders and safe administration.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and use of aids and equipment.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist at mealtimes.
• Help with light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, beds).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help clients attend appointments and stay connected with families.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes; maintain care records.
