Role : Care Assistant (Full Time)

Location : Parkfield House Nursing Home, Charville Lane West, Hillingdon, Uxbridge, UB10 0BY

Salary : £12.81 to £13.27 per hour, depending on qualifications

Hours : Full time opportunities for either day shift or night shift, working 12-hour shifts from 8-8 on a rota basis which includes weekends and public holidays

In this rewarding role, you’ll work individually and as part of a supportive team to deliver the highest standards of care and companionship to our residents.

What you’ll be doing :

• Checking on residents throughout the day and night to ensure their wellbeing and comfort
• Providing personal care with kindness and respect, supporting residents with daily activities while encouraging their independence
• Helping residents maintain their dignity and self-esteem through patient, compassionate care
• Contributing to care plans by working alongside residents and their families or representatives
• Supporting residents to take part in wellbeing and social activities both inside and outside the home
• Building positive, trusting relationships with residents, families, and your team

What you’ll bring :

• A professional, reliable, and flexible approach to your work
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A respectful, courteous, patient, and compassionate manner at all times
• Ideally, a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
• The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
