Job summary

The Care Bureau is seeking a dedicated Domiciliary Care Worker to help clients live independently and safely in their own homes. No experience is required, as full training is provided, and a DBS check is covered by us.

You’ll visit clients across Northampton, Kettering and Wellingborough with flexible hours from early morning to evening. You’ll be supported by a team that values kindness, reliability, and communication, and you’ll gain real purpose from helping people at home.

Qualifications

• A caring, patient and reliable nature.
• Good communication skills.
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (required, for getting between visits)
• Willingness to learn — full training is provided, so previous care experience isn't essential
• A DBS check will be required (don't worry, we cover the cost — see below!)

Responsibilities

• Helping someone get washed, dressed and ready to start their day.
• Making a cuppa and a bit of breakfast, and staying for a chat.
• Popping to the shops or picking up a prescription.
• Giving someone a hand with their medication.
• Doing a bit of light housework, laundry or bed-making.
• Simply being there — company, conversation, and a friendly face.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are the same. You might be:

It's hands-on, it's varied, and it genuinely matters. You'll be supporting people to stay independent, comfortable and dignified in their own homes, working around flexible hours between 6:30am and 10:30pm to suit your life.
