Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking a Care Assistant for Lambrook Court in Bath. You will provide high-quality care, assist with housekeeping and support residents to stay active and engaged in daily life.

Role involves helping residents book appointments, arrange transport, and accompany visits. A caring, team-oriented approach and experience in care are valued; QCF Level 2 is preferred, with UK-based applicants only.

Qualifications

• Warm, friendly individual with experience in care or support.
• Passion for the wellbeing and happiness of older people and working in a busy team.
• Driven to deliver excellent customer service.
• QCF Health & Social Care Level 2 preferred; alternative qualifications considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality personal care to residents and assist with housekeeping and domestic tasks.
• Support residents with activities to promote health and wellbeing.
• Assist with appointments, transport, and escort on visits as needed.
• Help residents with shopping and daily errands; enable participation in activities.
• Provide companionship and promote comfort and safety across the estate.
