Looking for a care assistant for my 11 year old boy. Roles will include being out in the community, exploring open spaces, parks, quiet areas. Driving is essential as he can become overwhelmed and stressed on public transport. Managing intimate care needs on occasion, supervising at meal times. Joe is severely autistic and is non verbal, a global developmental delay, he also has traits of ADHD and also has a metabolic disorder which is well managed. The ideal candidate would need to be time efficient, reliable and ideally have experience with severe autism. Would need to be in a fit healthy composition as Joe is very active. Hours are 10 per week on a Saturday & Sunday and 20 per week during school holidays. Days & times can be flexible if needed.
