We’re looking for a friendly, empathetic, and experienced Personal Assistant to support a lady in Redcar with daily living, personal care, and community activities. This is a rewarding role where your support will truly enhance someone’s quality of life.

About the Role You’ll provide assistance with personal care, light household tasks, and companionship, while encouraging the client to enjoy outdoor activities and social outings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including washing and dressing.
  • Assist with light household duties such as meal preparation, hoovering, dusting, and general tidying.
  • Support the client in enjoying outdoor activities—gardening, visiting local places, and going out for coffee.
  • Help with mobility within the home; experience with hoist transfers is highly desirable.
  • Care for the client’s cat, including feeding and cleaning the litter box.

Ideal Candidate

  • Reliable and compassionate with a person‑centred approach.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Experience with spinal injuries is an advantage.
  • Must be comfortable around cats.

Working Hours

  • Shifts may include full days or split shifts.
  • Additional hours available for holiday and sickness cover.
