Job summary

Elite Hire is seeking kind, reliable Care Assistants to help residents live safe, comfortable and dignified lives. You will assist with personal care, mealtimes and companionship in a home care setting.

No prior experience is needed as full training is provided; an enhanced DBS check can be arranged. The role requires flexibility for shifts, including some weekends, and good English communication skills.

Qualifications

• A caring, patient and reliable nature is essential.
• Good communication skills and spoken English are required.
• Willingness to work shifts, including some weekends.
• An enhanced DBS check will be arranged if needed.
• No experience needed; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with personal care, including washing, dressing and mobility.
• Support residents at mealtimes and with hydration.
• Spend time with residents, encourage activities and offer companionship.
• Observe and report changes in health or wellbeing.
• Keep accurate care records and follow safeguarding, infection control and health and safety procedures.
