Job summary

Helping Hands in the United Kingdom is hiring a Care Assistant to help people live well, stay independent and feel safe in their own homes. You’ll provide companionship, support with daily tasks and personal care, with all training and support provided.

No prior care experience is required; kindness and reliability matter most. Flexible shifts, paid mileage, and opportunities for career development are offered, along with holiday, pension and funded training.

Qualifications

• You don't need care experience; kindness, reliability and a desire to help others are valued.
• Full training provided and ongoing support.
• Right to Work in the UK and full driving licence are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs to help customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands including food shopping and prescriptions collection.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
