Job summary

Bluebird Care Stroud is hiring a dedicated Care Assistant to support clients at home. You’ll deliver high-quality personal care, assist with daily living activities, and work within a friendly team that provides 24/7 support and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medications and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework and ironing/laundry.
• Be a dependable, friendly face for customers.
• Up to £15.82 per hour
