Helping Hands is seeking a Care Assistant to join our welcoming team. No prior care experience is required as full training is provided, and you’ll be supported to grow in your role.

You will visit clients in their homes to provide companionship, assist with personal care, mobility, and daily tasks, and help ensure they stay safe and independent. Rewards include flexible shifts and mileage allowances.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• You’ll need a driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Assist with personal care: washing, bathing, dressing, toileting.
• Support mobility needs to help customers stay safe and independent.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
• Run essential errands, from shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, respectful support to ensure customers feel cared for.
