Job summary

Bluebird Care is hiring a Care Assistant to provide person-centred home care in Uxbridge, Ickenham, Hayes, Northwood and Ruislip. You will support clients with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and dignity in their own homes.

We offer expert training, flexible shifts, and a supportive team. A full UK driving licence and reliable vehicle are preferred. DBS checks and references apply as part of our recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and families.
• Compassionate, calm and patient approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for.
