Job summary

Onpoint Care is seeking experienced Care Assistants to join our Maidstone agency team. You will work across a range of residential and nursing settings, delivering person-centred care and supporting residents to maintain dignity, independence and wellbeing.

We offer flexible full-time and part-time shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights and weekends with induction, ongoing training and a supportive team. DBS and Right to Work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months' UK experience in care or healthcare settings.
• Confident providing personal care and daily living support.
• Must complete induction and mandatory training; Enhanced DBS and Right to Work in the UK required.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with personal care, washing, dressing, mobility and meals.
• Provide companionship while encouraging independence.
• Follow care plans, maintain records and report changes promptly.
• Adapt to different care settings while respecting service policies.

Due to continued growth and our expansion into Maidstone and the surrounding areas, we are recruiting experienced, compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our flexible agency team.

As an Agency Care Assistant, you will work across a variety of residential and nursing care settings, providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting individuals to maintain their dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing.

About the Role

• Your responsibilities may include supporting individuals with personal care, washing and dressing, continence care, mobility, moving and handling, meals and hydration, and other aspects of daily living.
• You will provide companionship and reassurance while encouraging individuals to remain as independent as possible.
• You will be expected to follow individual care plans and risk assessments, maintain accurate and professional care records and promptly report any changes or concerns regarding an individual's health, wellbeing or safety.
• As an agency worker, you will need to be adaptable and confident working within different care environments while respecting the policies, procedures and established routines of each service.

What We're Looking For

• Have a minimum of 3 months' recent UK experience within a care or healthcare setting
• Be confident providing personal care and supporting individuals with their daily living needs
• Be willing to complete Onpoint Care's induction and all required mandatory training
• Have an Enhanced DBS, satisfactory employment references and the Right to Work in the UK

Experience supporting older people, individuals living with dementia and people with physical or complex care needs is desirable.
