Home Instead in Bedford seeks kind and compassionate individuals to join as care professionals. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. Candidates should be available to work evenings from 4pm-10pm and alternate weekends.

Your role will include accompanying clients to appointments, preparing meals, and providing personal care. You will be part of a supportive team and receive industry-leading training.

This home care service with the personal touch is different to any other care organisation in the area, providing a minimum of 1-hour home visits to a predominantly private client base, but the focus being on companionship and loneliness prevention.

Job Description

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Bedford as a care professional.

We would love someone to join our team, who is availble to work in the evenings,from 4pm-10pm, the successful candidate will also need to be available to work on alternate weekends.

You do not need previous experience as fulltraining is provided.

However, you do need a full driving licence and access to a car.

The role includes:

. Accompanying clients to appointments and social events.

· Prepare healthy meals and snacks.

· Pick up a prescription, go shopping for essentials, and do other errands.

· Carry out light housework, laundry, or ironing.

· Assist clients getting out of bed in the morning or into bed at the end of their day.

· Running a bath or shower and being close by in case they need assistance.

· Assisting with dressing & undressing and personal care if required.

· Above all, be the person who shows friendliness, warmth, and empathy.
