Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare, Inc. is seeking a Care Assistant for evening and weekend shifts in Beverley. You’ll provide companionship, personal care, mobility support, and practical assistance to people in their own homes.

Training is provided; no prior care experience is required. A full UK driving licence and a reliable vehicle are advantageous to fulfil visits across locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship in customers’ own homes.
• Support with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs to help customers stay safe.
• Oversee and administer medication per care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
