Job summary

Trinity Homecare in Eastbourne is seeking caring, dependable Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Eastbourne and surrounding areas. You will provide personal care, companionship, meal preparation and help with daily tasks, while promoting independence.

Competitive Pay Rates

• Weekdays: £13.80–£15.00 per hour
• Weekends: £14.80–£16.00 per hour
• Bank Holidays: Double pay
• Travel Time: £13.80 per hour
• Mileage: 45p per mile

Pay rates depend on the applicable pay band.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, but your support will help people continue living safely and independently in their own homes.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Personal Care: Supporting clients with washing, dressing and daily personal routines while respecting their dignity and independence.
• Companionship: Spending meaningful time with clients, providing conversation, reassurance and emotional support.
• Meal Preparation: Helping clients prepare meals and maintain good nutrition and hydration.
• Medication Support: Providing medication assistance in line with individual care plans and your training.
• Everyday Tasks: Helping with light household duties, shopping and other practical activities.
• Promoting Independence: Encouraging clients to remain as active, confident and independent as possible.

Above all, you'll help make each day a little easier and more enjoyable for the people you support.

You don't need previous care experience to join us. We provide the training and support you need to develop your confidence and skills.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
• Willingness and ability to travel to clients across Eastbourne and surrounding areas
• Availability to work alternate weekends
• Right to work in the UK
• Appropriate business-use motor insurance
