Looking for a rewarding Care Assistant job in Shipston-on-Stour? Join our team and be part of a company known for outstanding, person-centred domiciliary care. Whether you’re an experienced Carer, Healthcare Assistant (HCA), or new to care, we’ll provide full training and support to help you thrive.

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you’ll be supporting people in their own homes so they can live safely and independently. Your role will include:

  • Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Administering medications
  • Companionship & emotional support
  • Meal preparation & monitoring dietary needs
  • Light housekeeping & maintaining a safe environment
  • Assisting with mobility (transfers, moving safely)
  • Accurate record keeping

We’re especially looking for carers to cover:

  • Early mornings (7am – 9am)
  • Evenings (7pm – 10pm)
  • Either alternate weekends or the same set day every weekend

We welcome applications from both experienced carers and those new to care – if you have a caring and compassionate nature, we’ll give you the training you need.

Our management team provide out-of-hours support, a bespoke support network, and a genuine focus on your work-life balance. With many years of experience, they will guide and support you in building a long-term career in care.

Responsibilities of a Care Assistant / Care Worker
  • Deliver personal care support (bathing, toileting, dressing)

  • Support with mobility assistance (e.g. transfers to chairs/wheelchairs)

  • Keep accurate care records and daily observations
Requirements for Care Assistant
  • Full UK Driving Licence, access to a car, and business insurance is a must
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Caring, compassionate, and reliable nature
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Previous experience in care work, support work, domiciliary care, or home care is desirable but not essential – we provide full training
