We have a great weekly paid opportunity to join our client in a lovely residential care home located in the heart of Worksop. The homely care setting supports regular care staff in providing a high standard of care to residents. This specialist Dementia Related Illnesses care home can house 49 residents, and the dedicated team of carers specialises in providing a full care package that promotes wellbeing through supportive and secure activities.

As an experienced Care Assistant, you must have experience dealing with residents with dementia, old age and physical disabilities and a strong desire to assist them in their activities of daily living to stimulate and improve their quality of life. You will pay close attention to individual care plans, provide tailored care, and record and report any arising problems.

All our Care Assistants must hold sound qualifications in Health and Social Care and have up‑to‑date mandatory training, especially Moving and Handling with Hoist Training.

Qualifications
  • An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
  • Up‑to‑date mandatory training
  • A referenceable work history
  • At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, don’t worry – we can help you with online training available at a subsidised fee, and the certificates are yours to keep.

This is an ongoing role. You will be working on various days with typical hours either 07:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00.
