A regional care recruitment agency in Worksop is looking for a Care Assistant to support residents in a Dementia care home. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, following care plans, and ensuring high-quality support for up to 49 residents. Requirements include an Enhanced DBS and qualifications in Health and Social Care. Pay rate is £12.35 per hour with various shifts available, promoting a caring and secure environment for residents.
We have a great weekly paid opportunity to join our client in a lovely residential care home found in the heart of Worksop. Within this homely care setting supporting their regular care staff in providing a high standard of care to their residents.
This specialist Dementia Related Illnesses care home can house 49 residents. The dedicated team of Carers specialise in providing a full care package to encompass activities that promote wellbeing for their residents in a supportive and secure environment.
As an experienced Care Assistant, you must have experience of dealing with residents with Dementia, Old Age and Physical Disabilities and a desire to assist them in their activities of daily living to stimulate and improve their quality of life. You will be paying attention to their individual care plans and providing a level of care tailored to their needs. You will also need to record and report any problems as they arise.
All our Care Assistants must have sound qualifications in Health and Social Care and all mandatory training must be up to date, especially Moving and Handling with Hoist Training.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This is an ongoing role.
You will be working on various days with typical hours being either 07:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00.
You will be paid £12.35 per hour.
