Anchor Hanover welcomes you to Wharfeside Care Home in Otley, where a caring team supports residents with compassion and dedication. We are seeking a kind Care Assistant to join our family-like environment and help provide dignified care with empathy.

Qualifications

• No experience required; comprehensive learning and development program available.
• Training for your Level 2 qualification and beyond is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide dignified personal care and assistance during mealtimes.
• Offer sensitive and appropriate support with various aspects of residents' lives.
• Be a compassionate, attentive listener and build trusting relationships with residents.

Job Purpose:

As a Care Assistant, you'll bring compassion, energy, and fun to our residents. Your role includes providing dignified personal care, assisting during mealtimes, and provide sensitive and appropriate support with various aspects of people's lives. Beyond physical care, you'll also be a comforting and attentive listener.

Each day as a Care Assistant promises to be diverse. Our residents are unique, each with distinct care needs, personalities, and life stories. Your contributions will be not just inspiring but immensely enjoyable as you build strong relationships based on understanding, trust, and genuine care.

Opened in the Autumn of 2022, Wharfeside is a fabulous pupose built home to provide excellent care for residents with varying degrees of support.

Built over 3 floors with 66 beds and including a dementia floor, we have roles to engage all.
