Overview

You will join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible levels of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating. You will promote residents' independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Responsibilities
  • Complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits
  • Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Maintain excellent people skills
  • Demonstrate a caring and nurturing attitude
  • Maintain a positive and enthusiastic outlook
  • Demonstrate good time management skills
  • Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills; experience in care role supporting residents with dementia
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
  • Live within 25 minutes of the Home; well over half our team have a relevant Diploma qualification with another fifth currently studying for one

  • Oxendon House is located in the quaint village of Great Oxendon (3 miles to the south of Market Harborough). The home is set around an attractive country house, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal and dementia care for 43 residents.
