Job summary

Renaissance Care Limited is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join Malin Court for full or part-time day shifts. You will engage residents, support personal care, and help promote nutrition and wellbeing in a person-centred environment.

No prior SVQ2 is essential as full training is provided; SVQ2 is beneficial. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, upholding values of People, Friendly, Passionate and Inclusion, with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Effective communicator able to work with residents and a multi-disciplinary team.
• SVQ2 in care is beneficial but not essential; full training provided.

We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care.

We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team in Malin Court for full and part hours.

Our Care Assistants are at the forefront of resident engagement, they support and encourage meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection. Our Care Assistants who cover night shifts are essential and will participate in person-centred activities, particularly through 1:1 care and promoting lifestyle and wellbeing choices for all residents.

The Care Assistant role is to ensure the highest quality, person-centred care for all residents – supporting the delivery of each individual care plan. The role promotes the independence and choice of residents, making sure that their voice is heard through all elements of care and support. The role offers variety and versatility as no two shifts are the same. Key elements of care include assisting with personal care, promote a positive mealtime experience to enhance nutrition and hydration, support meaningful connections and create 1:1 meaningful activities.

An essential aspect of the role is upholding the values of People, Friendly, Passionate and Inclusion. You will be an effective communicator and work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Having your SVQ2 and previous experience in the care sector is beneficial but not essential as full training is provided.
