Job summary

Greathed Manor Nursing Home is seeking Care Assistants to join our friendly team. We offer day and night shifts with a starting rate of £13.10 per hour and enhanced overtime. We provide full training and development opportunities to help you grow within the home.

You’ll need good communication, team spirit, reliability and a caring nature to support residents and their families in a compassionate environment. No prior experience required, just a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care role is desirable but not essential - we're looking for people with the right attitude and a caring nature.
• We will provide training and support you need to succeed.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Reliable and able to work well under pressure.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and qualifications.
• Able to work empathetically and respectfully with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents.
• Assist with daily living tasks and mobility as required.
• Follow care plans and report changes to the team.
• Support the wellbeing and comfort of residents and their families.
