Flexibility across some evenings and weekends is required; prior care experience is a bonus, but personality and values matter most.

Responsibilities

• Support Residents with washing, toileting, dressing, and daily living tasks.
• Assist with physical, emotional and spiritual care, maintaining dignity.
• Help Residents with limited mobility using available aids.
• Monitor Residents who may be confused or have behavioural issues.
• Promote continence and assist with care for Residents who are dying or ill.
• Record care planning notes and daily records per policy.
• Support social activities and hobbies within the Home.
• Answer Nurse call, door, and phone; pass on messages promptly.
• Report on Residents’ well‑being under supervision of senior staff.
• Carry out regular checks on Residents and make visitors feel welcome.
