About the role

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester complex care home, you will help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive high‑quality care. You will support residents with a variety of needs, including advanced or young onset dementia, multiple sclerosis, neuro rehab and Huntington’s disease. Our residents require highly specialised care to maximise their quality of life, and you will provide daily living support, companionship and share great moments and memories.

Daily duties will vary and include supporting residents with their food and drink, following care plans, and ensuring that each resident receives one‑to‑one time. With our newly refurbished units, a welcoming atmosphere and extremely supportive management, this is the ideal environment to bring your dedication and compassion to meaningful use.

About you

To take on this role you will need experience caring for older people, a can‑do approach and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm‑hearted approach will shine through, and above all you must have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents.
