Job summary

Bandrum Nursing Home in Dunfermline is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with personal care, daily routines and independence, delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

You will work closely with Nurses and the wider team, build relationships with residents and families, and contribute to individual care plans and reviews. We offer training, SVQ support, a National Living Wage accreditation and wellbeing benefits, with weekend work on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• Be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
• Hold a PVG Scheme membership.
• Have a genuine passion for caring and supporting others.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, relatives and colleagues.
• Be able to work flexibly to meet residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily routines.
• Get to know residents' preferences and encourage independence.
• Support residents in activities, outings and appointments.
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Contribute to individual care plans and reviews.
• Recognise and report changes in health or wellbeing.
• Work with Nurses, Senior Carers and the wider team.
