Job summary

Workforce Personnel is recruiting Experienced Care Assistants and Support Workers to support a variety of care services across Bedfordshire and Central Bedfordshire. Roles include shifts in Bedford, Dunstable, Luton, Houghton Regis, Leighton Buzzard, Biggleswade, Sandy, Flitwick, Ampthill and surrounding areas.

We offer flexible agency shifts to suit your availability and provide support from friendly recruitment consultants, with regular opportunities across residential and nursing homes,

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' UK care experience – essential.
• A caring, reliable and professional attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• Willingness to complete mandatory training.
• Satisfactory employment references.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support.
• Assist with personal care, mobility and daily living activities.
• Support individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs and elderly care requirements.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
