Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Care Assistant at one of its care homes in Brackley, England. You will help residents with daily living, provide companionship and support, and follow individual care plans to ensure comfort and safety.

You’ll use your empathy and communication skills to create a warm, respectful environment, with training available to develop your career and deliver the high-quality care our residents deserve.

Qualifications

• Experience of caring for older people is preferred.
• Empathy and warm-hearted approach are essential.
• Strong communication skills with residents, families and colleagues.
• Willingness to undergo training and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing and mobility.
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Support residents with meals and hydration according to care plans.
• Follow care plans and document observations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve.
