Job summary

Barchester Healthcare in Inverness is seeking a Bank Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, meals and companionship in a welcoming care home. This casual, part-time role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to develop skills while delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

You will work as needed to cover shifts, provide one-to-one time, follow care plans, support dignity and independence, and contribute to a warm, respectful environment for residents and their families.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. You’ll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship – and sharing great moments and memories too. It’s a chance to bring your dedication and compassion to a fulfilling environment. As a Bank Care Assistant, you could be doing anything from supporting residents with their food and drink and following care plans to ensuring that each of our residents has one-to-one time. To join us as a Bank Care Assistant you’ll need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills.
