Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Bank Care Assistant to join a care home. This casual, part-time role offers flexible working patterns and the chance to help residents enjoy each day by providing quality care and friendship.

You’ll bring caring experience, a can-do approach and excellent communication. Training is provided, with hours varying to cover leave and sickness, and a stable environment where you can grow your career in a supportive team.

• Experience in caring for older people or similar settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, feeding and mobility.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in activities.
• Follow care plans and document observations relevant to wellbeing.
• Support residents with meals and hydration and ensure one-to-one time.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. You’ll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship – and sharing great moments and memories too. It’s a chance to bring your dedication and compassion to a fulfilling environment. As a Bank Care Assistant, you could be doing anything from supporting residents with their food and drink and following care plans to ensuring that each of our residents has one-to-one time.
